2018 Regulation Seminar
Thanks to all who attended our 3rd Annual Conference held on
May 1, 2018. The links on this page are provided as resources. Greetings from the Backflow Prevention Education Council of Colorado:
This year’s seminar sponsored by BPECC and the CDPHE will be a solid 1-day session on a critical topic many neglect. If there’s a backflow event within your system, what will be your emergency response? Most can handle a taste and odor complaint within a block. Nearly all have a plan for a broken main resulting in a pressure loss within a zone. But how will you handle a contamination event with a pesticide that won’t flush because it’s oil based? During the morning session, you will get the program building blocks, such as CDPHE expectations and regulatory requirements. In the afternoon, you will test you skills with table top exercises. This year’s program is considered a ‘can’t miss.’ We look forward to seeing you at one of the several locations throughout Colorado. Please don’t delay in getting your registration back to BPECC, as available space is a concern at a few venues. We look forward to seeing you May 1, 2018! Dr Stu Asay, PE, Chair BPECC |
